Expedition Ships of Viking
Viking’s two Polar Class ships, the Viking Octantis and Viking Polaris, will each accommodate 378 passengers in 189 cabins.
They were created by the same naval architects and engineers that created Viking’s ocean ships, and they are perfectly scaled and constructed for expeditions – tiny enough to cross isolated arctic areas and the St. Lawrence River, yet big enough to manage and stay stable in heavy seas.
Straight bows, larger hulls, and fin stabilizers will enable the ships to glide over the waves for the smoothest voyage imaginable, while ice-strengthened Polar Class hulls will give the safest route to explore.
