Royal Caribbean is one of the most popular cruise companies in the world. The company recently announced their first ever “world cruise” with a 274-night journey around the globe.
The “Royal Caribbean Debuts First World Cruise, 274 Nights” is a cruise that will be taking place on December 12th. The cruise includes ports in the Western Hemisphere, Europe, and Asia. Read more in detail here: us cruises.
Royal Caribbean has announced its entry into the global cruise market.
The big ship company just announced its first Ultimate Global Cruise, a 274-night journey that would take passengers to all seven continents, over 150 stops in 65 countries, and 11 world marvels.
This is not just Royal Caribbean’s first global cruise, but also the industry’s longest to date. The event will take place on board the Serenade of the Seas, which will depart from Miami on December 10, 2023. It will end on September 10, 2024, in Miami.

The itinerary will include 57 locations that are new to Royal Caribbean and exclusive to this globe voyage. Casablanca, Morocco; Qaqortoq, Greenland; and Shimizu, Japan – the entrance to Mount Fuji — are among the highlights.
“This is the global cruise of world cruises,” Royal Caribbean International President and CEO Michael Bayley remarked.
“People are more determined than ever to explore the globe and make up for lost time. Royal Caribbean is making it a reality with the ultimate holiday, which invites people seeking adventure and discovery to join us across the globe to eat, dance, and dream. The Ultimate World Cruise may be booked in its whole or in four segments: the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Mediterranean, and Northern Europe.
Expedition to the Americas and Antarctica (Round the Horn)
3 continents, 36 locations from December 10, 2023 to February 11, 2024
The voyage’s first leg will concentrate on the Americas and Antarctica, departing from Miami and stopping in a number of Caribbean ports before going to Antarctica and around Cape Horn.
Passengers may see four world marvels in Central and South America, including Chichen Itza is a Mayan city in Mexico. in Cozumel, Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer monument, and the world’s biggest waterfall system, Iguazu Falls in Buenos Aires. Machu Picchu, one of the most famous icons of ancient Inca civilisation, is waiting for you in Peru.
Expedition to Asia and the Pacific Wonders
From February 11 to May 9, 2024, three continents and forty locations will be visited.
On the following part of the trip, guests will travel to Oceania, Asia, and beyond. They’ll start in Hawaii, where they’ll find beauty and adventure, before sailing to More and Tahiti, where they’ll find beautiful sky and crystal-clear seas.
The adventure will continue with a visit to New Zealand before diving into Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Bali’s pristine natural beauty is quickly followed by two of the world’s most famous man-made wonders: China’s Great Wall and India’s Taj Mahal.
Adventures in locations like Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa, Japan, round out the trip.

Expedition to the Middle East’s Treasures and Wonders
From May 9 to July 10, 2024, three continents and 44 locations will be visited.
This section starts in Dubai before traveling to the Mediterranean, where you’ll see places like Jordan’s lost city of Petra, Egypt’s Pyramids of Giza, Ephesus’ Temple of Artemis, and Rome’s Colosseum.
Other locations to visit are Greece’s Olympia, which hosted the first Olympic games; Croatia’s Split; and France’s Cannes and Provence.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
From July 10 to September 10, 2024, three continents and forty locations will be visited.
The Ultimate World Cruise’s last leg is a cultural immersion that starts in the Mediterranean and continues north.
Travelers may admire Barcelona’s architecture and sample cuisines from across the world, such as lunch at a Parisian cafe and a Moroccan tagine supper with mint tea. The alleys of St. Petersburg, Russia, are lined with museums, theaters, and galleries, while magnificent fjords await in Norway.
On their journey back to Miami, guests may relax in the geothermal waters of Iceland’s Blue Lagoon before visiting New York City.
Passengers who purchase the complete Ultimate World Cruise will get a variety of complimentary benefits, including business class flights, premium transportation, and an evening of festivities and lodging at a five-star hotel before sailing.
