The idea of a road trip was one that I had had in mind for quite some time. I was due for a vacation to the east coast, but I had never been able to get one of my own. Since I had been able to get my hands on an airline ticket for the west coast, I decided to make the best of it. After some research I found two routes that I thought would work best. I would start in Houston Texas, head out to the capital of Texas, Austin, and eventually make my way to New York City. I had no idea how long the trip would take, but I did know that it would be a great time to see some places that I had never seen before.
This month I’m taking my youngest daughter to visit her grandparents. Our family is heading to New York City to see the sights and see the new Marvel movie Avengers: Endgame. I wanted to bring along something to help pass the time on the long drive, so I decided to try out an activity that my wife and I started in the past when we go on road trips, The Road Trip Game . I decided to read my wife’s book “Road trip to…” series.

When is the best time to go from Houston to New York?
Whether deciding when to take the road journey from Houston to New York, use your best judgment – the trip may be taken at almost any time of year.
New York doesn’t have a distinct seasonal appeal in the sense that there is always something to see and do, regardless of when you come. Keep an eye on the weather and forthcoming events to figure out when you should go.
As you would imagine, summers in the city are very crowded, which, when combined with temperatures in the low-to-mid-80s, makes July and August difficult to suggest if you plan on spending the most of your time outside.

Despite the harsh weather, winter in New York is a sort of peak season, due to the holidays. If you can get over the cold, spending New Year’s Eve in Times Square (or anyplace else in the city, for that matter) is an unforgettable experience.
If very hot or cold weather are a deal-breaker for you, try traveling in the spring or autumn. The former has pleasant weather and a high possibility of finding a nice hotel room bargain, while the latter is particularly enjoyable if you travel around Thanksgiving.
I’ll begin this story with a little about myself: I’m a person who enjoys napping and watching TV in the afternoon. I’m also a person who enjoys road trips and old school analog radios from the 1930s. So, when I went to New York for a trial, I decided to take a road trip from Houston to New York. I wanted to get out of town and experience a life that I rarely experience.. Read more about houston to new york flights and let us know what you think.
