There’s something for everyone at Lustre Pearl, from bar games and Tommy Want Wingy chicken lollipops to Craft Pride’s 54 taps of Texas craft beer.

If you’re a Mezcal enthusiast, go to Clive Bar, and if you’re looking for a nicer, date-night atmosphere, go to Lucille. Another popular place to drink and dance is Container Bar. This one-of-a-kind venue, made of shipping containers, is a large, unusual spot to get down.

There are many food trucks to select from, especially at the food truck area, including Little Lucy’s hot fresh mini doughnuts. On this lively street, you may sample anything from genuine Mexican carnitas at La Sirena to a variety of potsticker dumplings at Monk’s Momo to ceviche at Olaya Peruvian Food and more.

Cottages and the Wayback Cafe

Lake Austin, at the city’s center, is a beautiful body of water surrounded by some of the most spectacular lakefront mansions you’ll ever see. The Look 360 Boat ramp is just 10 minutes away from The Wayback, where you can hire a boat with a sound system, loaded coolers, a friendly skipper, and more.

The beautiful Hamilton Pool Preserve, a historic swimming hole, is another outdoor activity in Hill Country. This lovely turquoise blue body of water has a 50-foot waterfall and is usually accessible to swimming (be sure to check their website for official hours or closures). The Bee Cave Sculpture Park provides a plethora of paths across the park that exhibit over 30 sculptures in a beautiful environment for art enthusiasts. The park is seven acres in size and has 22 native plant types as well as a pond for guests to enjoy.

Hill County is a part of Texas that has been home to the famous Hill Country for hundreds of years. The land is beautiful and the people are friendly.
