Disney Parks announced a new service, Genie, which will be available at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot in Florida. The service allows guests to make reservations for rides and attractions up to 180 days in advance.
Disney Parks announced a new service called the Genie at their parks. The Genie is a personal concierge who will help guests with anything from reserving a place in line to finding lost items.
It may be exhausting to visit Walt Disney World and Disneyland. There are a plethora of beautiful sights to view, activities to experience, delectable cuisines to sample, and so much more.
The sheer size of the parks may be daunting for families who don’t visit on a regular basis. However, Walt Disney World and Disneyland are launching a new free service to assist with this — the Disney Genie, which will be accessible in the my Disney Experience and Disneyland applications this Fall.
The Disney Genie is a tool that helps you plan out your time at the theme parks with customized itineraries, with the aim of reducing visitor wait times. Guests, on the other hand, are not required to adhere to a strict schedule; instead, the app refreshes during the day, helping visitors in making the most of their time.
What’s Hot Right Now
However, in order to get the most out of their Disney Genie, guests will need to do a little effort. By establishing a favorites board, each individual may personalize what is most important to them. Disney then takes this data and not only displays current wait times, but also forecasts future wait times for you.
The free version of Disney Genie will also act as a virtual assistant for visitors, allowing them to join virtual lines, make meal reservations, and buy food through mobile phone.
Guests may enter the Lightning Lane for an extra fee of $15 per person per day at Walt Disney World or $20 per person per day at Disneyland. FastPass+ has been phased out in favor of this new FastPass service. Each ticket with the enhanced experience will be able to choose a ride for the tourist to enjoy throughout the day by entering via an expedited entry or ‘Lightning Lane.’
Once visitors have had their fill of one attraction, they may move on to the next available attraction and so on throughout the day. The Lightning Lane may be utilized at several parks on the same day if customers have a park hopping ticket. This package also comes with extras like Walt Disney World’s AR picture opportunities and Disneyland’s limitless Disney PhotoPasses.
Alternatively, visitors may buy Lightning Lane tickets for up to two popular rides a la carte. The cost of this option, however, may vary depending on the day, theme park, and attraction. Visitors will be able to choose their ride for either extra paid program beginning at 7 a.m. on the day of their visit.
Disney parks will soon enable customers who participate in the Disability Access Service (DAS) program to pre-enroll and even choose rides via the mobile app. If visitors prefer, they may still register in person. More information about the DAS program may be found here.
Walt Disney World and Disneyland gather a lot of information on wait times, attendance, and other factors. And now, thanks to the Disney Genie app, visitors can use this information to better plan out their days.
